HOW TO VOTE FOR MICHAEL

BACK TO FRONT PAGE

What I stand for :
With my links to not only the Urban township of Bacchus Marsh but to the Rural communities through my family heritage of farming and active involvement in the CFA Volunteer Fire Brigade I believe that I have fairly and equitably represented the Communities of East Moorabool Ward.

MY PRINCIPALS ON COUNCIL

1.

Involving and engaging the community in the key strategic decisions and planning for the future resources, infrastructure and services for the whole of Moorabool

2.

Using Council resources and facilities to advocate to all levels of Government for funding and resources to achieve the community vision. This would involve facilitating localised communities to understand and appreciate others in their communities and presenting a solidly developed and well argued case to Council and Governments.

3.

Working with State and Federal levels of Government to assist with funding, resources and incorporation of our visions into State and Federal planning to ensure a 'locked in' program.

4.

Engaging community ownership of not only the identified projects and programs, but ensuring their is widespread community support and physical commitment and input into the process, program and final outcome.

5.

I will fairly and equitably represent the people of East Moorabool Ward whilst balancing that with a 'whole of Shire' view and appropriate resourcing within tight fiscal constraints.
