Moorabool Shire Council Councillor :

On the 27th November 2004, Moorabool Shire Residents elected 4 Councillors in the East Moorabool Ward

I was humbled to be elected as one of four East Moorabool Ward Councillors.

On Saturday 29th November 2008 I was re-elected as one of four East Moorabool Ward Councillors.

I am privileged and humbled to serve as your Community Councillor for another 4 years.


		What have I done for past 4 years?
*		Been YOUR Community Councillor
*		Working for ALL our communities and interest groups
*		Advocating and supporting individual residents
*		Implemented inaugural Hardship Policy for residents
*		Worked on improved support in grants for groups & council generally
*		Worked closely with other Shires in 'Peri Urban' group to progress support to Councils like Moorabool
*		Worked to improve community involvement and access to Council


		What is still to be done over the next 4 years?
*		Strategic planning for the future appropriate development of Bacchus Marsh and surrounds
*		Appropriate planning and implementation of industrial zoned land
*		Business expansion & retention to support local business
*		A community engagement and planning structure for the Bacchus Marsh township
*		Continued support to the Balliang/Rowsley/Parwan community reference group (Communities in Action)
*		Represent the community in advocacy, planning and supporting the interests of residents
